Trying to re-arrange her desktop - wooden not computer - to accomodate her new Mac mini, my wife has now got a pair of speakers (Creative Inspire T10) and wants one close by the side of her monitor and one almost flush with the Mac mini. You can tell I'm showing my age, but I was wondering if one still has to be careful with the placement of speakers, not in respect of sound, but as regards interference with other equipment?
Looking forward to any replies. Regards. Mike

All I can tell you is that I have a pair of Klipsh THX speakers literally touching the sides of my iMac and there has been no detectable interference either way.

If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?

The Creative Inspire T10 speakers feature shielded magnets (according to Amazon's website) so should not interfere with the monitor or the Mini.

Compared to the last set my wife had, yes they blow them away.
Compared to Mac mini's internal speaker, well, grin laugh grin laugh
