Noticed on the Cnet forums that many from Macfixit have moved here. Does any body know how to access the archives from Macfixit? There were also many tutorials on the old site that I want to look at and it doesn't look like they have been moved to the new site. Anybody know how to access them as well?

>> Archived MacFixIt forums. The thread Fix for macfixitforums archive slow loading deals with the homonymous problem. FWIW, the suggestion by Hal Itosis (the last post in that thread at this time) is an easy solution for Safari.

Finally, I don't know if or where the old MFI extras can be accessed, sorry...

I know about the archives for the forum. I'm looking for the archives for the Macfixit site and the tutorials that were there.

Go to CNET's MacFixIt page. They said they were making all the old MacFixIt posts available for free, and since it's already 1948 pages long, that may be true. I'll leave it to someone else to check if all posts are accounted for! There's a search box at the upper right of the page.

The old Ted Landau column that was "Pro" when I tried to access it a few weeks ago no longer is, so I guess they're being true to their word.

I was there looking at the page already. I was hoping the ability to search the archives by day and month like the old site had was going to be available. I also was looking for the tutorials that used to be linked at the of the page would be there but I don't see them either. Oh well at least I found a good forum replacement.
