System 10.7 no longer ships with iLife suite. Even with the download codes, the replacement apps will not D/L to a Mac running 10.7. Any ideas?

It's under Applecare. Just bought it. Apple just won't give you the iphoto, etc. apps, they just tell you to upgrade to Mavericks. (I think then you buy the apps or something.)

Word Up: Photoshop 4 doesn't work past Yosemite.

I found iLife 9 and iLife 11 on Amazon as older DVDs and that may solve it but which do you think will be better? 11 will work under 10.7 bit there were a lot of complaints I found about this later version. They were probably resolved during the updates, but Apple may no longer have those updates on their server, considering even Corporate said they no longer have the originals archived anywhere. iLife 9 will run also, it was less complained about, so it makes be a better choice.

After many conversations with Apple about this problem, they sent me the DVD for version 9 iLife which their software pros decided was best for OS 10.7 smile Bravo, Apple.
