FYI: Firefox 39.0 was released on June 30 and seems to have a fair whack of improvements vis-à-vis Mac OS X.

Which improvements do you mean?

Disable use of RC4 except for temporarily whitelisted hosts

HTML5
List-style-type now accepts a string value
Enable the Fetch API for network requests from dedicated, shared and service workers
Cascading of CSS transitions and animations now matches the current spec
Implement link rel="preconnect" allowing anticipation of a future connection without revealing any information
Added support for CSS Scroll Snap Points

Developer

Drag-and-drop enabled for nodes in Inspector markup view
Webconsole input history persists even after closing the toolbox
Cubic bezier tooltip now shows a gallery of timing-function presets for use with CSS animations
localhost is now available offline for WebSocket connections

Fixed

Improve performance for IPv6 fallback to IPv4
Fix incomplete downloads being marked as complete by detecting broken HTTP1.1 transfers
The Security state indicator on a page now correctly ignores loads caused by previous pages
Fixed an issue where a Hello conversation window would sometimes fail to open
A regression that could lead to Flash not displaying has been fixed

One quiet change I have noticed in both Firefox and Chrome that's going to have a big effect on a lot of Webmasters: Ads or iFrames that are ot secure will not display on secure sites.

More and more people are going to https instead of http even for sites that are not eCommerce sites and don't accept money, because Google is now using site security as one of its factors when it comes to how high a site ranks in search results.

And a lot of people (including me) sell ads on sites to help pay for them.

But a surprising number of ad resellers don't use https. In the past, this has meant the padlock icon gets a little exclamation point in it to show that some elements (the ads) aren't secure. But Firefox and Chrome now don't display non-secure elements at all, so a lot of folks can no longer serve ads on secure sites.

So what are your costs for getting secured? cost of SSL certificate? Is that a yearly thing?
