Patriots video

I can't play the videos on this site. I can download the videos as files and they play fine in Quicktime, so I don't think a subscription is necessary. I wonder if it is a Flash issue? That's about the only thing I can think of that I've fiddled with recently – the Flash control panel settings, mostly denying access to mic and camera.

I don't have any trouble on YouTube, etc. Does anybody else have trouble playing the videos on the Patriots website? A possible solution?

Thanks.

That site works fine for me with Safari 4.0.3. Do you have any third-party plugins installed? Does the problem occur if you log into a test account?

Thank you, Jon, for helping me put my brain in gear. Firefox wouldn't work. Safari wouldn't work. Camino worked. I realized that ad blocking add-ons were the difference, made the adjustments and I can enjoy this season's SuperBowl champion's website now.

Cheers!

Them's fightin' words!

Edit: Yeah, I run into that not infrequently, with AdBlock Plus causing troubles with some websites in Firefox. I've gotten used to turning it off as my first troubleshooting step.

My ad blocking add-ons have been operating in the background for so long, I'd forgotten about them.

safari's popup blocker checkbox, and pithhelmet, seem to make a very effective combination.

Though lately a few of those talking popups have gotten through, but never on any site I visit regularly thankfully.
