Welcome to FTM! Back at MFIF, if I recall correctly, someone suggested that the Lounge should be named Cyn City.

Why mess with a time-proven entity? My vote is for "Lounge".

I'm not sure if it was just a suggestion (or was used as topic?), but I have a hazy memory of a Lizard Lounge back at the old MFI. Not that it would necessarily be my first choice....
I think the Lounge is safe though, grelber, for now at least, because the powers that be have only officially solicited a creative description. "Lounge" is pretty standard usage that most folks probably recognize, which is a plus, but something wild and crazy in the subheading might make a refreshing change.

Here's the original description:

I tried to have a look around there for my original posts, but it took too long..........

Yes, lizards were associated with the ur-Lounge, but they were deemed too slimy and/or degenerate by the bouncers. Hence, the contest and the name change.

Yes, lizards were associated with the ur-Lounge, but they were deemed too slimy and/or degenerate by the bouncers. Obviously, those bouncers never handled a real lizard. Like their brethren, snakes, lizards feel smooth and leathery. They are far from slimy. It's unfortunate that many people have wrong ideas about these wonderful animals.

Indeed — on all counts. At least you and I are on the same page on this one. Methinks the bouncers were considering the lounge lizards of human ilk.

That one was for Tech Issues, I'm sure.
