I use Flush to get rid of Flash Cookies. Is there a program that gets rid of beacons or both beacons and flash cookies?

You might want to check out Ghostery. It doesn't deal with Flash cookies, but covers pretty much 'everything else' in the way of cookies, tags, web bugs, pixels and beacons.

It 'blocks' them, but is there any way of getting rid of them? The targeted marketing is annoying me to distraction. I feel like products are 'chasing after me.'

What do you mean by that?
Are you looking to keep them from ever reaching your Mac in the first place?
If so, I hope somebody's got an answer, but I'm not holding my breath.

Excuse my ignorance, but what are "beacons"? I'm not familiar with that term.

I use Flush to get rid of Flash Cookies. Is there a program that gets rid of beacons or both beacons and flash cookies? I assume these files are in ~/Library/Safari/ in both the Database and LocalStorage folders?
I work for the Department of Redundancy Department

Ghostery is great! I will look in the Firefox Library, I dislike Safari.

I bought a snapshot camera at Staples two years ago and eBay just showed me a list of dozens of them as recommended for me. It's just really obnoxious. And stupid. If I bought a snapshot camera at Staples, then I already have one!

"I bought a snapshot camera at Staples two years ago and eBay just showed me a list of dozens of them as recommended for me. It's just really obnoxious. And stupid. If I bought a snapshot camera at Staples, then I already have one!" Two years old! Clearly out of date and needs replacement!!

I guess that explains it! However, it might be the definition of insanity to buy a camera on eBay. I recently bought Sennheisers online, and they were, lets say, not made by Sennheiser.
