Are internal hard-rives so risky to replace or is it just the internal optical DVD burner that is such a risk?
A drive is a drive is a drive regardless of whether it is a hard drive or an optical drive. The relative level of difficulty is dependent on what Mac it is and even what model of that Mac.
If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?
