I somehow hit a wrong key or button on my M2 and now all the stuff on my Finder side bar is gone like applications, and all the other stuff that should be on there. I can't remember it all. Help! Finder Side Bar

No idea what you did, but can you restore any of what's missing in Finder > Finder Settings > Sidebar?

The new Great Equalizer is the SEND button.

I found it in Finder settings (thanks), but I want it on the side bar permanently like before. I couldn't find a way to do that in settings.

I called Apple after searching the internet and watching a couple of videos. There is the word "favorites" at the top of the sidebar. I must have accidentally clicked the little arrow on it which hid my stuff. All I had to do was click the arrow and it's all there again. So simple, but I just didn't see it. The little arrow doesn't show unless you hover over favorites so that's how I missed it.

That arrow doesn't work in my Finder windows. (The "Locations" arrow does.)

Yeah, those brilliant software developers think we're just supposed to know where all the hidden goodies are. It's probably in the manual, online, if you can find it. wink

They should change the app's name from "Finder" to "Hide & Seeker." tongue

LOLOLOLOL! You made me laugh out loud!! That's how I feel about most of this Ventura/M2 saga. Thankfully, things have settled down and I am getting comfortable. Although something could some up I can't find or work with or something, and then I will be calling Apple and/or contacting FTM.
