 Can't install Malwarebytes

I tried downloading and installing Malwarebytes but got an error message: The installation failed. The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.
I did that but since I don't have a paid version they referred me to the community. I haven't gotten there yet but wondered if anyone else is having problems with this with Ventura or M2 Ventura to be specific?

- Malware Bytes Premium 4.18.9 Beta
I have not performed a full install, but I have updated the installed version with no problem. However, when I attempt to even launch an archived installer, this message appears. Are you certain you are downloading the correct Malwarebytes version for the version of Ventura you have installed?

Malwarebytes tech staff used to be very accessible. Now they make you jump through hoops and so I get nowhere. I even had to filled to a form and then they said I needed to validate my email. There was a link to do that. I click it but I never get an email so I can validate my email. I tried several times. I give up on Malwarebytes. Given: - Ventura (macOS 13.2)
