No expectations anyone will know or even understand, but on laptop today, not desktop imac, (that is fine), but on laptop, when do screenshots, NOW, when hit spacebar for fast preview, I no longer see the full screenshot as have for 10 years. I now see a tiny little thumbnail on left, with huge letters, I don't care for on right announcing it's a screenshot.

Is there some weird preference that is causing this all of the sudden? Thanks.

Have you rebooted since this started happening? (If not, you might try relaunching Finder: hold down the Option key while two-finger tapping/clicking on Finder's Dock icon, then select Relaunch from the contextual menu.)
