I'm trying to figure out how to use the iPhone camera app to record a video with the audio source coming from the microphone on a bluetooth headset instead of the iPhone's built-in microphone. When I connect to the bluetooth headset, I get no audio at all on the video. I see that under options in the bluetooth settings, I can select one of the following as the device type: Car Stereo, Headphone, Speaker, Other. I tried all of them, but none seem to work. Shouldn't it have a "headset" or similar option for when I'm using a device that has both audio input and output? Is there some other setting that I missed?
When I connect the headset to my MacBook Pro, it recognizes the device and the microphone works fine.
