I have seen questions about how to batch rename, several times, in these forums. Although I have not tried this, it may be useful: How to batch rename files in macOS

Very informative. Since I have been using A Better Finder Rename pretty much from Day 1, I wonder how long the Mac OS has had batch renaming options as indicated in the article. A well-kept secret, from my perspective, if it has been "forever". 
On a Mac since 1984.
Currently: 24" M1 iMac, M2 Pro Mac mini with 27" BenQ monitor, M2 Macbook Air, MacOS 14.x; iPhones, iPods (yes, still) and iPads.
