Says SCFoundation plug caused mail to crash. I've done finder search, and also looked in library bundles etc, can't find this thing. any ideas? Thanks.

If you used Spotlight, be aware that Spotlight is not always the best. You should try Easy Find or Find Any File. I have had success with both.

Any installed Mail plugins are managed via Mail > Preferences > Manage Plug-ins… (located at the bottom of the Mail Preferences window). You can enable and disable any Mail extensions or plugins there. The folder where those extensions physically reside is invisible by default so the easiest way to get to it is…
  1. Click on the desktop
  2. press ⇧⌘G (Shift+Command+G)
  3. then copy and paste the following path into the data entry box that appears
  4. Press Return

Code
~/Library/Application Support/Mail/Plug-ins

If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?
