Ever wonder what you missed as you scanned a website's bazillion words in their Terms of Service, and then agreed to them? Here's a site that simplifies the language for many, many sites and provides ratings. It even has a browser add-on that will give you the 'Coles Notes' version of the terms as you visit a site.

Thanks for the link, but from my point of view, your linked site is for the morbidly curious, not me.

If I need to gain access to a website, I don't care what their Terms of Service are.

I'm far more concerned with the info a website asks me for after I"m in.

Those insidious boxes with the *s for "Required Information" will dissuade me from further interaction with a website after I"ve agreed to their ToS, but not the ToS themselves.

Interesting reading and confirms my opinion of several sites. It is enough to encourage the use of VPNs and secure browsers such as TOR and Cyberghost Private. Unfortunately, the Safari browser extension is of a form that is no longer supported in Catalina or Big Sur versions of Safari.

If we knew what it was we were doing, it wouldn't be called research, would it?
