For those who still favor it, the first EasyFind release in many years happened yesterday.

I definitely favor it, and I have V5.0 (can't remember when I first downloaded it). This new one is V5.0.1, so not sure what changed.

Thanks for the notification. I am going to download it, and install it in both of my "environment": Catalina on both of my Macs, and Big Sur in my testing environment.

OK, looks like two important differences are 1) V5.0.1 adds support for Apple Silicon Macs, and 2) V5.0.1 requires El Capitan or later.

Hah! I was never even aware of v 5.0.

MacUpdate is well into a long slide down!

Yeah, MacUpdate can, at times, be behind the times. That is why for most applications, I go "straight" to the source, ie, their site.

OS 10.12.6

I have the app EasyFind and it is 4.9.3 and it says I have the latest version. Is there another EasyFind?

I have just DuckDucked it and there is version 5.0.1 which I have downloaded. Then I clicked on old the version and it says there IS an update...go figure.

The publisher of EasyFind is DEVONtechnologies (on their website look for EasyFind among their "Needful Things") and the current version there is 5.0.1
