In Calendar 8.0, when I click on “Calendars” to show the SideBar, I have three major headings:
1. On My Mac
2. AOL
3. iCloud

It is that second heading (AOL) that is giving me fits. To the right of that heading is a black triangle/warning sign.

Clearly, I did something to cause that, but I don’t know what it was, and worse, I don’t know how to make it go away. AFAIK, I suffer no dire consequence. But does doom await?

When I Control+Click on the warring sign, the subsequent dialog says:
•The server responded with an error.
•The request for account “AOL” failed.
•The server responded with “500” to operation CALDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation

There is an option to click OK, or Try Again, but these cause no change.

(SafeBooting and DiskWarrior brought no joy.)

What does all this mean, and what should I do to remedy the situation?

All thoughts greatly appreciated!

When I awoke this morning, the issue had mysteriously (and thankfully) disappeared.

If guesses count, I think it's probable that the cause of the problem relates to AOL's servers.

For now, I'm glad all is again right with the world.
