I recently had to set email dkim for several emails hosted by others. How does one set this for icloud email? Thanks.

You don't configure your email client (Apple Mail) you configure your SMTP or PHPMail server which assumes you have your own server and domain name because DomainKeys Identified Mail (dkim) resides at the email server level. This article gives an overview of why and how to configure your server.

Thanks Joe, this is how this came up:

For my main core email, I use fastmail.com They had me go into cloudflare which host the domain for the url, and enter a dkim.

I also use smtp to send newsletter. Same thing, into cloudflare.. set dkim. (domain based email)

Yesterday I set dkim, for Amazon SES - domain based email.

But my icloud email is not hosted anywhere really... So ?

Of course your iCloud/.me/.Mac email account is hosted somewhere, but I think in this case you will probably need to contact Apple Tech Support. By-the-way, I would be very curious to know what they say.

ok Joe, I'll that question to my list when I call about the other intractable issue!
