I have a CD with a Journler version that is no longer compatible with my mac version (even the one that has a CD slot). Does that mean I can never see what's on that CD again, or is there a way to transfer it to a flash drive and be able to read it? Or does it all have to do with the version of the program I have on the CD and it's compatibility or incompatibility to any version of Mac?

It's a shame if that's the case.

Journler looks like more or less of a dead issue, although it's still twitching.

It was open-sourced on GitHub in 2011 (GitHub - phildow/Journler: The Journler open source project), and it hasn't been updated since then, so it's only 32 bit and won't run in Catalina.

A MacUpdate poster reported that it runs in Mojave (Journler for Mac]), so if you really need to get into the app you'll have to install an older version of macOS.

I haven't been able to use it since I upgraded to Mavericks. Not sure how someone can get it to play in Mojave. I wonder if it's the same Journler. I've decided to use Day One. It's not as good because Journler let me change the color of my fonts for one thing, but it's just words. Keeping a dream journal. When I look back at them they're good for a laugh.

I've seen other fancy journal/diary apps, but I wanted to keep it simple. I just hate that I can't access my other dreams in Journler.

If you can get access to a Mac that will run Journler, it can export to HTML. You'll need any Mac capable of running 32-bit apps, which means any Mac running 10.14 Mojave or earlier.

Hi: Unfortunately, I haven't been able to run Journler since Mavericks. There was no update at that time when I checked.
