I really want a colour laser printer, and hope there is a wireless one available. Internet searches have not turned anything up. Does any one have any suggestions? My good old GCC Elite is great for B&W, and my Canon inkjet is always going dry.

I would put up to 1200 bucks into it if one is available.

If you already have a wireless network, you could simply hook up the printer of your choice to the USB port of an Airport Express configured to extend your network.

Thanks, but my old GCC has only Ethernet and SCSI connectors. The Colour Laser one I am hoping to see recommended will work fine if it has USB, I would attach it to AX. It would be neat if Airport Extreme had Ethernet, or if my LaCie hard drive ran off AX and the GCC ran off it.

Edit: Maybe it's time to search again for printers without wireless. D.

Or you could try Staples . They have four or five of them. Just search their site with Wireless Laser Printer. I've bought other stuff from them on-line and found they're quite reliable and they meet their shipping specs.

Oh yeah, and welcome to FTM.

I have had good results from the Brother MFC9320CW. It plays nice with all my wireless iDevices.

Check out Apple's list of AirPrint capable printers, I was surprised by the number of laser printers in that list. The ones with a little "w" at the end of their model are usually wireless.

CAUTION: Hewlett-Packard (HP).

A-I-O printers (i.e. with copy and scan features) will work with TIME CAPSULE through the USB cable. However, the SCANNER functions are lost if attempted wirelessly through TC.

HP provides free updates on printer software. However, the wireless support is not there for using the scanner with TC and LION (or LEOPARD).
