Is there no hope of converting a video file (using a mac) that has WMA Pro as its audio codec?
VLC will play it and that's about the only thing I've found with any support whatsoever.
I haven't done this myself but you might find
How to Extract WMA from DVD and Video for Mac of some help. It mentions WMA Pro and provides a suitable link for conversion.
As a possible alternative to Jon's suggestion, I'd think that if you can play it, you *should* be able to record it, e.g., with utilities like Snapz Pro X etc. If their Save As format options won't suffice, at least what is available should be amenable to further conversion with more run-of-the-mill utilities. If you just want the sound, record with a utility like Audio Hijack Pro or WireTap Studio (there may be freebies with similar capabilities).
Virtual1,
For your consideration, just wanted to provide this link to the
Scumbags Hall of Shame which includes Wondershare.
