I was curious to know if I could DL, on my iPhone, an application from MacUpdate and transfer it to my desktop. And sure enough, after the DL was completed, I was given options of how I wanted to open the downloaded file, and if/how I wanted to send it anywhere. At this point I quit the process because I was convinced I could do what I first divined.

But now that my initial curiosity is satisfied, I wonder where that downloaded file is hiding (on the iPhone) and if it can subsequently be accessed?

What kind of app did you download? What app did you use to download it with?

The app I think I downloaded was MacUpdate Desktop 5.2.3.

AFAIK, I do not have any special utilities, such as DiskAid. As I did not attempt to open what was ostensibly downloaded, can it be that what looked like completed DL, was a false positive of some sort?
