I just got an iPhone 4s recently and was wondering if there was a program that is better to use than handbrake as far as ripping dvds to itunes? Before when i tried using it it always gave me an error which is from the protection on the dvd im guessing. How do i add these to my iphone 4s?

The fact that we have the constitution (and even within that, the bill of rights) is an excellent example of why a democracy requires not only laws to say what is illegal, but laws to spell out what is guaranteed to be legal. No effective parity exists in the current "digital millenium" laws. Almost everything is illegal, and they're burdoning the courts to interpert common sense legality on a case-by-case basis.

The "usual practice" is to specify illegality. If it is not specifically illegal then it is legal. The problem with a law that declares something "legal" is that one could argue something else that is not specified as "legal" now becomes "illegal" by default because you did not say it is "legal".

Regardless, we all suffer from the industry's efforts to keep their pockets filled.
