I'm going to put an old standalone version, CS3 and put it on Parallels. Anyone know what the Mac version was when this came out? And what is the procedure/ obtain the OS it to get it onto a Parallels? Thanks. I'm a current Mac user, High Sierra.
You may find Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 – RoaringApps helpful.
Interesting website ARtie, Is it a site dedicated to telling you all apps in world and what OS was around when came out, and compatibility since then?

Interesting in that it is working currently ok with high Sierra but I have noticed certain features like changing all links at once for a new link sitewide stopped working-- not sure why.. wodering.. if that is OS, hence the idea of using the closest OS to the app release date.

That said, how do I get the oldest OS since release date onto Parallels?

RoaringApps lets people know with which versions of OS X/macOS their apps (that have been reported on) are compatible, but I thought they'd get feedback from more than just a handful of users.

No, DW CS3 is NOT working OK in High Sierra, possibly because of the problem you've run into.

I can't answer your last question without your telling me when DW CS3 was released.

More: You also need to check the Parallels documentation to see with which OS versions it's compatible.
For others who may know.
Lion to Sierra, how do I obtain a copy and then get into Parallels. Thanks!
