I clicked "full screen" on a video and my menu bar disappeared and won't come back. I can hover over it and bring it down temporarily but then it goes back up. I am not on the video page any longer so cannot just resize it. HELP!!!
I looked online but nothing helped.

There may be another answer, Rita, but try restarting your MBP.
Hi Artie: I finally figured it out. I got the menu bar to come down temporarily and clicked View and then Exit full screen. I just don't know why this happend. I use the full screen thing all the time when watching videos. Oh well.
Thank you.

Thinking about it, the same thing happened to me once, and I eventually figured it out, but that was the only time my menu bar has disappeared; ordinarily, "full-screen" means except for the menu bar.
"Full-screen" from clicking on the icon in a video, which is what I virtually invariably do, isn't really full screen; I don't remember what happened the one time I was in true full-screen mode.
Yeah, that's the first time it happened to me and I panicked. I don't like things to come and go, including the dock. But, if it happens again, I will know what to do.

I haven't encountered the problem myself, but if you run into it again, try hitting the Escape key. That is a quick way to exit full screen and just might do the trick for you.

Hi: Believe it or not I did that and nothing happened. I usually do that when I am in full screen. But what happened here was just weird.
I just opened a few videos in both QuickTime Player and VLC, and I was invariably able to exit full screen mode, i.e. no menu bar, by hitting "escape".
I think, though, that he first time it happened "escape" didn't work.
Yes, normally this is the case for me, too. This was just a weird accident.
