In Computer/Library/Dictionaries, I have many non-English dictionaries (plugins). They are each about 11 MB in size.
Is it OK to delete them or will this prompt gremlins to visit in the night?
Since they take up so little space, why bother? Leave well enough alone.

that. If you don't know what it is and messing with it may break something, keep the fingies off it
I'm an inveterate deleter, so I've deleted all dictionaries other than Apple Dictionary, New Oxford American Dictionary, and Oxford American Writer's Thesaurus, i.e. all non-English dictionaries, in Snowy with no ill effects, and I've deleted similarly in earlier versions of OS X.
Many thanks, gents, for your comments & insight. 'Twas exactly what I was seeking.
As I have 10 verified & assorted clones, I decided to go the delete route. Well, after a bit more searching about and finding no horror stories; not yet anyway.
But if gremlins appear, I'll be certain to post the error of my ways.
