The OS 10.10.3 update is now available. Has anyone had any issues with it? For the record, I haven't installed it yet.
Jon,
Didja ever hear that maxim about first disconnecting all unnecessary peripherals? I did; but didn't.
After the DL and as my computer was fixin (a Texas term) to restart & install, the restart failed because my external FW drive would not unmount. For me, that had never happened. Black screen with white cursor and FW fan going full speed. After 5 minutes, I was forced to do a hard shut down & restart. After an uneventful boot back to 10.10.2, I unmouted my peripheral (as I should have) and then proceded with the install. After that, all was normal.
Well, there are about a gazillion foreign support languages packages that may need thinning, and DiskWarrior nearly chocked.- the normal 2 minute process took at least 15 minutes.
But after that, all is sweetness and light (and Merlot).
FWIW: I used the Combo updater.

As has happened in previous occasions, I had to dig around to find it (it’s not yet listed where one would expect it). For those of you who are also having trouble finding it, here is the link to the
OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Combo Update.
Thanks for the reminder about disconnecting peripherals Harv. I'm not used to doing that because my old Mac Pro had all extra drives internally. I just installed the update (total of about 25 minutes, including 15 minutes to download).
I downloaded the update via the App Store > Software Update. So far, so good.
Thanks for that link to the combo updater. I looked all over for it, to no avail. Still confused, though: the combo download is 1.9 Gb. The update via Software Update was 2.2 Gb, but the file size for the Yosemite 10.3.3 installer listed for download is 5.4 Gb!
In any case, I updated 10.3.2 on my desktop with no issues, but when I updated my MacBook it broke Little Snitch. Uninstalling LS, then reinstalling fixed everything.
No problems.
