I noticed that it seems to be taking a little longer to open applicastions, Safari, Mail, Graphic Converter, so I opened Console to see if something was amiss. This message is shown for every application I've opened recently.

__CFServiceControllerBeginPBSLoadForLocalizations timed out while talking to pbs

Can anyone tell me what this means and how to fix the problem if there is one?

Did a Google search and ran Cocktail 2 times and rebooted and that seems to have solved the problem.

For our information, what did you have Cocktail do? When you say that you "ran Cocktail", it doesn't tell us much.

I deleted all of the cashes and logs and ran the daily, weekly and monthly scripts.
