I need an explanation. Sometimes when I click the finder to see remind me which version of Tiger I have, it says 10.4.7 and other times it says 10.4.11. How can that be? Why does it change?

Thanks.

I'm guessing that 10.4.7 is about Finder (not This Mac).

You're right. I feel like such a dunce. How do I find out which Tiger I have? I looked it up on Spotlight and Welcome to Tiger popped up but it just says 10.4. I know I upgraded it and I used to know how to check it. Duh!! frown Rita

Hi, Rita,

Click on the  and then on "About This Mac." (By the way... If you click a second time you'll see which build of 10.4.11 you've got, and a third click will show you your Mac's serial number.)
