Tony Soprano had panache backed up with true grit and pragmatic realism — a true padrino, with Sicilian credentials — as was Don Corleone.

Donnie Trumprano might have panache but is incapable of breaking the law in a defensible manner — a true putz, with WASPish qua inelegant underpinnings.

Even at the level of the family's consiglieri, Trumprano's advocates fail miserably, measured against those of the Sopranos and Corleones.

The current maelstrom in which Don Trumprano finds himself is going to be a media blockbuster ~ ratings monster.

Once his inane behavior and inability to do anything right and/or efficiently, he's likely (along with many of his complicit family members) to wind up sharing sleeping space with Bluto in Sing Sing and complaining about "hemorrhoids".

All this means is that Donnie has zero chance of regaining any political credibility or stature in future, other than possibly in the prison food line, if and only if he receives Bluto's imprimatur.

I'm so happy, I could puke.

More to come. Watch the news reports.

Unfortunately, none of this will change the minds of hid supporters. Sadly, there is still a reasonable chance that he will run for President in 2024 and win.

The more Trump talks, the more he exposes his utter lack of intelligence and total narcissism.

How could anyone with the mental capacity of a 5th grader not see how ridiculous his recent statement is?
I'm referring to his claim that the President has the ability to declassify documents "by saying it, or just thinking about it".
He keeps out-Trumping himself. He clearly doesn't understand the concept of Rules, or that they apply to him too.

Unfortunately, the cogs of justice move too slowly (they can also move too quickly, see Russia, et al.) in the US.
The legal system has to get him before he gets us.

It won't matter if he has any supporters if he's prohibited from running for political office because of criminal convictions.
So sad. Not.

I just realized that the first clause in the fifth paragraph (beginning with "Once his inane behavior ...") is incomplete. Replace same with:

Once his inane behavior and inability to do anything right and/or efficiently reduces him to even more of caricature of ineptitude (on the order of Wile E. Coyote), he's likely (along with many of his complicit family members) to wind up sharing sleeping space with Bluto in Sing Sing and complaining about "hemorrhoids".
