We all occasionally follow links that lead to content that's blocked by a paywall on a site we're likely to never visit again and don't care to subscribe to, and for those moments, this hack may be useful: Prepend 12ft.io/ to the URL, i.e. right before the "www." I've only had the opportunity to test it out on two sites, and it's "been disabled" on the NY Times site but it worked on the other one.
