Half a century later the 'movement' (so to speak) has bounced back (so to speak).
No longer a political statement per se, but a statement about personal comfort and choice.
The time is apparently ripe. Check out the podcast at The Current at cbc.ca which aired today on Radio One in the third half-hour segment.
What goes around, comes around, one might say. It's about as close as I'm going to get to my halcyon days (and without the Mayor Richard Daley's Nazis beating the crap out of Eugene McCarthy at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago).
