Pet horses in Alberta were illegally sold by boarding stable and slaughtered ... part of family for over 20 years.

Woman horrified to learn her horses were sold and slaughtered without her knowledge or permission

Tarring and feathering would be the minimal punishment for the perpetrators. I would gladly subsidize their slow and excruciating dismemberment. mad

A traditional tar and feathering included stripping the perpetrators nude, then dipping them in tar and rolling them in feathers, then placing the astride a rail that was carefully sharpened along the top and trotting (more up and down motion than running) them out of town. I would be happy to contribute the rail for your event.

I've always been a fan of public stonings, which beyond being exceptionally nasty gives the rowdies an opportunity to vent steam that might be otherwise directed.
