I own one, along with my g5, mbp, and mb.
It happens to be an acer aspire one 10" and I find it to be my only truly portable mac. We use the apple laptops around the house, but the acer is great for dropping on the front seat of the car with a movie or two on a SD card. 6 plus hours battery life, email, safari,itunes...under $500.00.

Anyone else here own and enjoy one?

One of my buddies walks around with one, and it is truly portable; he recently told me he gets up to 10 hours out of his battery.

I give up, how did you do that?

In a nutshell:
Reformatted drive
Installed 10.5.6 via a customized installer.
The installer includes a bootloader to get around the efi issues
Installed some custom kexts specific to the video driver, sound etc.
Updated and am now running 10.5.8 on my AAO.
I wouldn't say there are no issues, but for my purposes it works great.
You can chose to dual boot with the original windows installation, but I decided to remove windows entirely.
