I now the answer! At Smart Studios in Madison, WI where they record, the Mac side of it (upstairs) is Pro Tools. Downstairs, is all analog.

It's done with a media tag that wasn't available previously. See for yourself: hit the Reply button, and check out the 5th button from the left immediately over the Reply text box, between the Image and List tag buttons.
