Hey, could some of you help me think of some Scottish Names for my Sims? ALL of them are Scottish and I'm running out of ideas. There is no way that I'm going to pick a different country. FYI a first and last name if you can please. Thanks!
Duncan MacLeod for one... Steve J. MacIntosh for the other.
Nice! How about Connor MacLeod as well?
Also: William Wallace.

You name your Subscriber Identity Modules? Or are they your single in-line memory modules?
And how do you know they're Scottish? I thought most tiny electronics came from the Far East.
WOW! I thought I was crackers, naming birds and insects and other things I don't care to divulge, but you PChat, are my hero!
Forgive my ignorance/obliviousness, but what or who are "Sims"? (The only time I've ever head of such is in "simulation", eg SIMØNE.)
And why would they have to be named (as opposed to numbered or some other ID procedure)?
She's referring to the popular game

Actually It's the Sims 2. And grelber, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?
MacIntosh/McIntosh/Mcintosh isn't Scottish?! You bet your haggis, it is!
One only need think of Charles Macintosh, who invented a waterproof fabric and after whom the raincoats are named.
As for computer games: Not my gig. About the only game I play (beyond card games) is Scrabble, including Super Scrabble.
There are plenty of Scotsmen named Steven.
Meet my newest Simmies! From left to right: William Macleod, Duncan Wallace and you know who. (I know he's not Scottish. The other 2 are)

I'm all out of guesses...
Ian Lamont
And because it might be easier for you to pick them.
First names (men and women) And the list of surnames and clans.
Did you look at the picture? I'll tell you if you still can't figure it out. He's on the far right and he's holding an iPhone.
WHAT!? I thought that the Manson family was its own Clan, but it says Gunn...
Me in the third video...
"That's not what I want!"
"STOP IT GAME!"
"NO! I want the GARBAGE bedcover!"
"Here it is! Finally."
Yes, I have a Garbage bedcover...
Careful, the "Manson Family" usually refers to something
very different ...
I figured it out the third person from your iPhone reference. See, there ARE Scottish Stevens!
No, he was born in California... Doni, (or anyone else) what's his name?
NO DONI!! you know who I'm talking about!!
Well, if you're not referring to Steve from San Francisco, I give up...
He certainly looks like The Steve.
I'm surprised nobody's suggested either (the legendary) Duncan MacYoYo or (our very own) Modman MacManiac!
YES!! You're right! I tried to make him as close as I could...
Artie, That's not Scottish.
Did anyone notice what was on the ground and walls in my pictures?
Well if London is close enough, and given the quote in your guessing game thread ...
George Steevens
> Artie, That's not Scottish.
Not true!
The MacYoYos are an ancient clan (which was founded by Duncan MacYoYo), legendary for having defeated all of their enemies without ever having resorted to either weapons or bloodshed...
The first rank of MacYoYo troops mesmerized their foes with YoYo tricks;
the second rank took advantage of their foes' debilitated mental state by rousing them out of it with the terrifying skirl of the pipes, sending them into an abrupt, disorderly retreat;
and those who didn't turn-tail and run were beaten into submission by the third rank which violently assaulted them with driven golf balls. (The stragglers, all of whom were, presumably, blind and deaf, could neither see the golf balls coming nor hear the MacYoYos shouting "Fore!" and were, so-to-speak, cannon-fodder.)
The MacYoYos have kept a low profile in recent years, the only internationally known member of the clan being world-famous cellist YoYo Ma(c), who modified his name to a less type-casting, more suggestive of a player of a refined musical instrument, one after one gushing fan too many insisted on being regaled with "a tune on the pipes, please." He has, needless to say, been both castigated by the Clan's elders and forbidden to ever again wear the famous MacYoYo tartan (with its distinctive alternating plaid YoYos and golf balls).
Modman MacManiac, on the other hand, is not necessarily, but may very well be, of Scottish extraction.
WOO! I just made my own Tartan! I call it the
Garbage Tartan...
Wikipedia said yoyo ma is chinese, and born in France!
Can you explain that, Artie?
Yo-Yo Ma was born in Paris to Chinese parents and had a musical upbringing. His mother, Marina Lu, was a singer, and his father, Hiao-Tsiun Ma, was a professor of music. His family moved to New York when he was four years old.
He is now officially a Chinese-American.

artie's post was a joke, PC...
Oh! it WAS a joke! How could I be so STUPID?
I made it because I was just messing around.

Peabody's:
The 91 four-and-a-half-minute episodes always ended with atrocious puns.
And if you think coming up with a punch-line for that joke is easy (I've been working on it for 3 days, now.) you've got another guess coming.
> How could I be so STUPID?
Same way I was!
