I just installed Incognito Safari Extension. I'll probably never know if it's working but I feel like I have more privacy.

Incognito protects your privacy by blocking Google Adsense and Google Analytics on non-Google pages. In addition, it allows you to optionally block Facebook content on third-party websites as well as embedded YouTube movies outside of the YouTube website.

Sounds okay... but I wish they had a page detailing *how* they do that.

EDIT: hmm, more here:

Introducing Incognito
We just released a Safari extension that protects your online privacy. It's called Incognito and it blocks companies like e.g. Google and Facebook from gathering information about you (or your browsing habits) outside the context of their own websites. The plugin started as a personal project by Albert Jorissen, one of our engineers. He was concerned about the fact that some large companies have access to a staggering amount of information about his online life. Have a look at the Incognito page for more information on this free Safari extension.

...but no nitty gritty. Does it accomplish that by deleting some cookies and history, or does it redirect specific html tags, or what?

[just curious, not doubtful.]
