Just when you think you've heard it all.......

I was at the dog park, talking to a lady with a Mastiff who appeared to be fully equipped. I commented on the fact that he was a peaceful dog without the aggressive nature that sometimes comes with males who haven't been fixed.

She said: "Oh, he's been neutered. Those aren't real. They're testicular implants called Neuticles. You can get them if you want your dog to look like he's still got it all."

Just in case you haven't googled it yet ...
Neuticles have been around for well over a decade.
The fact that there's a market for such (and a big money-marker for IMHO less-than-ethical veterinarians) just illustrates that some people should be selected out of the gene pool.
And dare I say it? Some people are just downright nutty. tongue

Amazing....who'd have guessed? I suppose it also means there are too many people with more money than they need.

By the bye, prosthetic testes have been used in human males for many of the same reasons given for canine males, which in the latter case makes no sense whatsoever, especially the "masculine pride" bit.
At some stage in men's lives, many would opt for prosthetics (or just no testes), whether or not the real McCoy(s) had to be removed for health reasons, if only to never again be a "star" on American's Funniest Home Videos, getting a whack or a knee or a football or ... to the groin (ie, no more excruciating pain, doubling over, rolling on the ground, vomiting, ...). But then again some masochists might enjoy it. Whatever turns your crank.
However, I suspect that ethical surgeons would not accept the procedure on an elective basis. But who knows? Surgical penis lengthening is indeed practiced on such a basis.

Which all recalls the sad plight of Charlie Haggers (who, as some may recall, was in line to be a recipient from a canine donor).
