I would like to delete my account. I tried emailing the address that is listed at the contact page, but the email bounced back as being unable to be delivered. I tried enabling Private Messages in the Preferences, but that didn't work either.

Would one of the moderators tell me how to delete my account? Thanks.

I understand and acknowledge your concerns from last November with a certain politically charged thread which has since been re-titled....and I am sorry that you feel so strongly as to vote with your feet and no longer participate in this community as a result. You have been with us for a long time and will be missed.

I believe I can delete your account but I need to make sure doing so won't erase all your posts. I'll check that after Christmas.

...ah, but you see, we have that as a concern because your posts are part of the entire FineTunedMac forums and if your posts ALL disappeared it would riddle the forums with holes. So, being cautious of the Law of Unintended Consequences, we will go forward carefully.

If I delete an account while leaving the posts in place the result is the name on each post remains but is no longer a link and Unregistered appears below it.

Knowing that, should I go ahead and delete your account?
