Looks to me like the "home page" already has a logo: http://www.finetunedmac.com

I have no doubt tacit could make a FTM favicon too. Wouldn't surprise me if that and adding a header/banner/whatever to the forums are already on his ToDo list.

I'll date myself by confessing that I thought it was a stylized "fine-tuning" control from a TV set.

I thought the circle was a surgeon's headlamp, which sort of made sense to me in a Mac-fix-it-sort of way. Although, I thought the graphic was a bit too Classic.

I know one! it's the person who gave me my Mac! anyone interested? She's very good!

How about a contest? ehMac did that recently - there were a number of members there who submitted designs. In their case, there were certain requirements that had to be met - as I have no doubt there might be here as well.

BTW - so happy to see everyone here. I had pretty much given up on MFI years ago; the number of postings had fallen precipitously and the atmosphere just wasn't the same. Interesting that this forum has evolved in much the same way as Techsurvivors.net evolved when NoWonder was bought out. I hope I'll have time to participate here too!

I've got her working on one now! i'll post it when it's done. it's going to be a couple of days.
