I recently added a Watched Topic, and indeed it worked as expected, except that the magnifying glass icon no longer appears in the thread.

Is this just something that has yet to be customized, or is it a feature/nit that comes with UBB 7.5.5?

It comes with UBBT, no customization involved.

FWIW, before the server move and upgrade to 7.5.5, and even back at MFIF, I gave up on the magnifying glass as indicator of a watched topic because so often it wouldn't be there when it should. I'm pretty sure it always appeared in the thread list right after I added a topic, though.

I suspect whatever's behind the jump-to-first-unread-reply not working and the new-post indicators incorrectly vanishing is also messing with the magnifying glass. Just gotta find the fix...

Harv, AFAICT this is working again. Please give it a try and let me know if the magnifying glass appears now when you add a thread to your Watched Topics.

Credit goes to Rick (UBBT dev) for finding the cause of this and the other problems we had after the server move and upgrade. The missing icon was definitely minor compared to most of the others but nevertheless I'm glad it's back.
