So, I'm documenting continuing errors using this machine that had the mid 2010 MacBook Pro NVIDIA video card problem after Apple replaced the logic board, trackpad, and CD/DVD drive.

This morning I awoke to a keyboard that would light up when awakened, but the screen remained black. Here's the same problem again with the new video board. Where do I look in the system logs for any kind of error message? Nothing showed onscreen when I restarted.

Take a look in /Applications/Utilities/Console.app > All Messages; you may find something there.

Go directly to the Genius Desk at the Apple Store, do not pass Go do not collect $200. It took a friend 3 ttys, 3 new logic boards, and two keyboards for Apple to eventually give in and replace the computer.

Can't do without computer for that many times, a week to send it out each time. Taking a different route.
