Be aware that this update seems to restore default auto correct library. At least for me it added at least one default correction I had deleted. Can't say if it erases additions as I did not add any.

My machine is being repaired now, so I can't check, but might you know if the old auto correct library file can be saved and used to replace the new one?

BTW, might you also know the file name & location?

Not sure what you mean by subject, but the slashes separate folders in the finder.

Gregg meant the subject line in these Forums, not anything on your computer. In my view, the subject that you stated is better than his suggestion.

Too subtle, maybe. Actually, FTM shows bold type very poorly (at least on my setup) so I didn't see it until you pointed it out. The old MFIF showed bold type much more clearly for me. For those of us who use Office 2008, the subject line of 12.2.3 indicates that it is Office 2008 and not an earlier version.

Jon, FYI the display of bold has absolutely nothing to do with the FTM or MFIF forum software. Each sends to your browser the same HTML <b></b> tag pair for bold text. The level of contrast is a function of your monitor, your monitor calibration, the typeface, and your eyesight. As I get older I find that bold type can easily be overlooked when it is embedded in a string of non-bolded text, which is why I am more inclined these days to use the underscore or bold underscore to emphasize words or phrases in a sentence.

I have plastic lenses in both my eyes and they don't help, so glasses probably aren't the answer.

nothing to those of us who pay so little attention to those numbers that we have to go look to see what we have. Since Office is broken up into pieces, some of which do not match it's version number, you might have to look at 'em all to figer it out.

They use Verdanna over at >macosxhints< and its exaggerated bold characters are unmistakable. Even the color looks blacker (perhaps part of the defined style).

Sorry to further this off-topic discussion, but i too had noticed that (default) bold text around here was a bit on the subtle side... so i've been resorting to using larger sizes (i.e., "this one goes to eleven") to compensate at times.

Since the default font color is Obscure Gray (#333333), not Black (#000000), another way to boost the contrast between bold and regular text is to make the bold text black.
