Uninstalling Adobe Reader

If there a specific uninstaller for Adobe Reader DC, I have yet to find it.
Presuming no such critter exists, is using AppDelete or such the best way to uninstall Adobe Reader DC?
And when that is all done, are there any special files I may need to manually remove?

adobe reader is most likely to install adobe flash player extension, check in system preferences and your web browser plugs for flash player.
Other than that there's not really much to worry about. It will also have likely taken file associations which you may have to reset. (what app opens when you double click certain documents)
Removing plists and application support folders might tidy things up a bit but is usually totally unnecessary.

Many thanks V1!
I did as you suggested, even cleaned up numerous plists and such, and don't think (famous last words) I removed anything important. But if I did, I have numerous clones, or perhaps I'll need to reinstall some app. Still, I hope that is not the case.
So far, all I've needed to do was to change the default on some PDFs to "Open In Preview". Time will tell with the rest.
And if there are undesirables consequences, I'll be sure to post back.

Have you checked out the Apple discussions thread titled How can I uninstall Adobe Reader DC from my Mac from late 2015? I Googled your FTM subject question and that plus numerous other discussions turned up. Surely one of them can provide direction — should you require anything more convoluted than merely discarding the app from your Applications folder. EDIT: It looks as though my note is ca 2 minutes too late.

So far, all I've needed to do was to change the default on some PDFs to "Open In Preview". Time will tell with the rest. If you avail yourself of the "Change All" button next time you make a change, every file of the type you're addressing that previously opened in Adobe Reader will henceforth open in Preview.

One thing to check is /Library/Internet Plug-Ins. If there are any AR plugins there, delete them. Otherwise, it's possible that PDFs viewed in a browser may open in AR.

Artie: I just checked and I did do the "Change All". Alas, just a bad/sloppy post on my part. Jon: I thought I had all the bit's pieces removed, but when I checked /Library/Internet Plug-Ins, I did find two others: 1. AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin 2. AdobePDFViewer.plugin So many thanks to you too!
