I can't find the application Opera on my Mac Mini. It shows up as an application in the GetInfo window for JPG files and it will open them but I cannot find the application anywhere on my Mini. Have done several searches that yield nothing.
Any ideas how I can track it down. I suspect it's integrated into some other application I can but that's only a guess.

It shows up as an application in the GetInfo window for JPG files and it will open them... If Opera is opening the .jpgs, then Opera is running, and hence its icon is presumably appearing in the Dock. Command-click on that Dock icon, and a Finder window will open to Opera's location in the file system.

thanks for the tip on how to find it.
It's embedded in Adobe Bridge.

I have also noticed that an old version of Opera (specifically, version 9.20.3670) is embedded in Adobe Bridge. I can only assume that Adobe put it there (and I can only see it if I control-click Bridge CS3.app, select Show Package Contents from the contextual menu and then open Mac OS). I know that I always update Opera by replacing it in /Applications. I have no clue as to Adobe's reasons for this and I'm reluctant to remove it from Bridge CS3.app. At any rate, you can get the latest version of Opera here. If I go to Safari's Develop menu and click Open Page With, all versions of Opera show up as choices.

I had a similar experience with Bean, a text editor. It showed up in my Services menu. It was probably part of a download, but I have no idea what it was. I could never find it in Applications, or anywhere, but it ran. I finally downloaded an updated version, and now it's visible. I guess I'll never know what it was embedded in at first. Until coming upon this thread, I was clueless. Thanks!
