I bought a new Mac Mini, with SL 10.6.0. Updated to 10.6.1. Transferred everything, including TTP, over from my old Mac Mini. Played with new Mini for a week to make sure everything was working properly. Used SuperDuper to clone my new Mini to my FWHD. Used TTP to check out the clone and everything was ok.
I booted into the clone, again everything ok, ran TTP on my Mini HD and Volume Structures test failed due to: Validation Error encountered PreCheck Structures. Tried Volume Rebuild and that failed too with: Rebuild error encountered. TTP would not let me do a Surface Scan, or Optimize either.
I ran Disk Utility on both the Mini and and FWHD and both were OK
Booted back into my Mini HD and no problems encountered. Ran Disk Utility again and it says everything is OK.
Anyone have any idea what a Validation Error is and how I can fix it?
Thanks
UPDATE: Apparently TTP does not like to be 'migrated' from one computer to another. Deleted TTP, reinstalled and now everything seems to be working correctly and there is no problem with my new Mini : )
