I installed Windows XP on my macbook, and my OSX disk keeps installing macbook air drivers when I'm using a 7.1 macbook. I'm stuck :-/

Hi, and welcome to FineTunedMac. smile

I'm afraid your question is far outside my area of amateurise, but maybe I can help by setting you up for somebody more knowledgeable.

1. Precisely which Mac and version of OS X are you running? ("7.1 macbook" is not adequately descriptive.)

2. Did the OS X disc you're using come with your Mac, or is it from another source? (Edit: And which version of OS X does it install?)

3. Precisely what are you trying to do when your disc "keeps installing macbook air drivers?"

The answers to those questions should give somebody more knowledgeable than I a good starting point.
