Hi:

I went to my bank's website to pay bills yesterday. Several of the links don't work (some do), so I tried my husband's PC. They worked just fine. Is that a programming error on the bank's part, or could it be something at my end? Need that info before I call them and they blame me.

Are you using Ghostery or a similar browser extension? If so, try whitelisting the problem site in Ghostery's settings.

I have had problems with Ghostery interfering with web sites. If you're not sure about which tracker is to blame, disable Ghostery and refresh the page.

I do have Ghostery. I disabled it when I got the problem, but it still happened. Perhaps I didn't refresh the page, I don't know. Anyway, I added it to my whitelist as suggested by you, and now it works. Thanks so much.

Well, I spoke too soon. They are now giving me problems again. Any other suggestions? Funny, how it worked right away after whitelisting my bank, but now...... dead links.

Oh man, my bank had timed me out, that's why it didn't work there for a minute after I said it did. It usually warns me when it's going to time out, but lately no warning. Finally, a page popped up to sign back in or sign out. I signed back in and the links all work.

If I have anymore problems, I will wait a while before I bug you again.
