Ok I have an Android phone....... I probably shouldn't but I have!
I also have a 'me' email account which I access using Mail on my MacBook (intel core duo 2.4 GHz running 10.6.8).
The phone will download my emails which is quite convenient, but I notice that when I'm back at home those emails wont then appear on my Mac.
How do I sync these two together?
(I have seen one suggestion on the web about doing it all through a separate Gmail account.......... is this the territory that I have strayed into!)

Any other suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Are you using POP or IMAP for your email? If you want to read email from different devices, it's better to use IMAP.

I use my regular 'me' (.mac mobile me) account. It's IMAP isn't it.

I did just notice that when I initially receive emails on the Mac they will then download to the phone, but not the other way round.

If your Android phone's email client is configured for POP mail and set to delete the mail from the server once downloaded, and your Mac is set to leave it on the server, that would produce exactly the symptoms you describe.
