Located in the drop-down from the work wheel on a Google results page, it used to place a cookie when I saved, but hasn't in a while...maybe since I upgraded to El Cap?

Anybody else experiencing the same PIA behavior?

Edit: This sounded promising, but no such luck.

Isn't anybody able to comment either way about a Google prefs cookie in Safari 9.0.2?

Thanks.
